Yeah, I’m still excited about about Goal Line Blitz. And, I’ve got a few new additions to help fuel my obsession: Mo McSweetcheeks (my FS) and Menzies MacBiggun (my G), Angus McNancypants (my frilly Punter) and the latest newb Archibald McSlippie (my RB). 2 of my guys are on a friend’s team which is populated entirely from folks on a gaming message board. My original player, halfback Hamish, has been re-signed to his team for another couple of years. I’ve got my frilly punter on a random human-controlled team and my newest player resides on a D league team (CPU controlled).

My running back, who I’m spec’ing as an elusive / speed type o’ guy, will likely sit on this D league team until I think he’s marketable. Then I’ll try to hock him to a human-controlled team as a back-up. I’m also staying well away from “boosting” any of my players (spending money to level them up); I definitely get more enjoyment out of watching them level through the experience they gain from training / games. Seems entirely less interesting or entertaining to throw money at them so they gain a couple of levels. God, I’m a nerd.
