Bank Holiday Weekend Stuff

EBO had her 1 year booster jabs on Friday. I made MotH hold her even though he passes out at the sight of needles /chuckles. She was braver than I was - cried for all of 10 seconds and gave the nurse a nasty look. That’s my girl.

Miserable or should I just say ‘west of Scotland’ weather for Saturday and Sunday. Monday though, Monday was gorgeous. The local ned women were parading around in their thong bikinis whilst plying themselves with Buckfast. And, we had a little jaunt to Portencross castle.

It’s about 15 minutes away up the coast and we were pleasantly surprised. EBO spent the whole time smiling and generally being anti-EBO, which made a great change. Sometimes I think that it almost makes up for all this teething bitchiness she goes through.

Rest of Monday was spent out in the garden (shock, horror) planting all of my hanging baskets which will most certainly turn crunchy and brown whilst we are away on holiday. MotH bought me another hosta even though he swore he wouldn’t allow me any more plants.

The deck furniture is out. It’s officially summer in Scotland - all 7.5 days of it!
